Overview
Aria Magic Voice is a macOS desktop application for local AI-powered speech-to-text conversion. We take your privacy seriously and have designed the product with a privacy-first approach from day one.
In short: your voice data never leaves your computer.
Voice and Text Data
- All speech recognition is performed 100% locally on your Mac using the built-in AI engine.
- No audio or text data is ever uploaded to any cloud server.
- No third-party cloud speech recognition service is used.
- Transcribed text exists only in your device's local memory and is released when no longer needed.

This directory contains only app settings (hotkey preferences, language selection, etc.) and does not contain any voice or text data.
Network Connections
Aria Magic Voice performs all speech recognition entirely offline — no internet connection is required for voice input. The only network connection the app may make is for license activation and deactivation.
- License activation — When you activate a license, the app sends a request to our server to register your device. The only data transmitted is your device identifier (IOPlatformUUID) and device name.
- License deactivation — When you deactivate a license, the app contacts our server to unregister the device. The same device identifier and device name are sent.
- No voice or audio data is ever transmitted over the network.
- No usage data, analytics, or telemetry of any kind is sent.
Data We Do Not Collect
- No personal identifiable information (beyond device UUID for activation)
- No analytics or tracking tools
- No cookies
- No account registration required
- No usage behavior or frequency logging
- No system logs
Payment Processing
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record. When you make a purchase, Paddle collects payment information (such as your name, email address, and payment details) directly. We do not have access to your full payment information. Paddle's handling of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
This Website
ariamagicvoice.com is a purely static website hosted on GitHub Pages. This website does not use any analytics tools, trackers, or cookies. However, the website loads resources from the following external domains in order to render its pages:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) — for web typography. Google may log standard access data; see Google Fonts Privacy FAQ.
- Phosphor Icons (unpkg.com) — for UI icons.
- Flag CDN (flagcdn.com) — for country flag images.
- Paddle.js (paddle.com) — for in-page checkout functionality.
When your browser loads these resources, your IP address and basic request headers are sent to the respective CDN providers as part of standard HTTP requests. We do not control data handling by these providers.
Third-Party Services
The desktop application does not integrate any third-party cloud services for speech recognition. All voice-to-text conversion runs entirely locally and does not depend on any external API. The app connects to our own server (hosted on our own infrastructure) solely for license activation and deactivation — only your device identifier and device name are transmitted during this process.
This website loads third-party resources from Google Fonts, unpkg (Phosphor Icons), Flag CDN, and Paddle as described in the "This Website" section above. These services may receive standard HTTP request data (such as your IP address) when the page loads.
Data Retention and Deletion
- App data — All application data (settings, preferences) is stored locally on your Mac. You can delete all app data by removing the application and its configuration directory at ~/.config/magicvoice/.
- Activation data — Device identifiers stored on our server for license management can be removed by deactivating your license within the app, or by using the Device Recovery page.
- Payment data — Payment and transaction information is handled by Paddle and is subject to Paddle's privacy and data retention policy.
- Data deletion requests — If you would like to request deletion of any data associated with your purchase or have questions about your data, please contact us at magicvoice.team@outlook.com.
Children's Privacy
Since we do not collect personal data (beyond a device identifier for activation), there are no concerns regarding children's data collection. Users of any age may safely use the product.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the content on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
