Required macOS Permissions
Aria Magic Voice requires the following permissions to function properly. You will be prompted to grant these on first launch.
Microphone Access
Required to capture your voice. Free and the planned Pro tier use the local recognition path; original recordings and complete chat content remain on your Mac.
Accessibility
Required for detecting the single-tap Left Control voice trigger and committing recognized text at the cursor position.
Input Monitoring
Required for the input method edition to monitor the Left Control voice trigger while the Aria input source is active.
